actualy this is a morning meating disccusion and it is realy confused especialy for GP febrile convulsion are always to be consider but not a define symptom and here in Oman we have policy to wait for LP first but in the end our pateint lives are more imp than thinking about resistence but still this will have probem later on to develop a highly resistant organisms like in India

first you welcome as a member in this modest medical part and about your discussion i have afew Qs 1-what is the indications of LP in F.convulsions 2-what is the risk for postponding the ttt 3-how much the risk is for emerging of the resistant strains when we use broad spectrum ab 4-what about the contra indications of LP and the risk of conization 5-when we give anti viral drugs 6- what about the use of steroids in these cases regards

first of al thanx alot for ur replay doctors and it is my pleasure to share information the ques rise up neeed alot of discussion but realy i dont know if there is realy an effective antiviral this beside it is more difficult to diagnose bcz they come with low ***** fever i dont know anyway i dont konw the extent of benifit from steroids in this situation salaaaaaaaaaaam

i very depressed coz our doctor buzzy at this period by the way if this case face me i will take lp but not wait for the result and start antibiotic to save the life untill the result came if pt respond will not to change our treartment if not so good jump to the specific antibiotic thanks alot
