At the beginning, i would like to say “ramdan kareem” to all of you. This will be the first political post in the English form to discuess it as the political forum but in English ofcours. The main point would be basically about the socialist group in yemen and it’s one of the opponents group of the government group which is the consultation group. As long as we know that our sister Magdolin live in Aden I think she has a general idea about this red group especially that her grandfathers and her father lived under the government of this group and I think she knows that they take the fraud way to swindle people and play with their feelings .It was a disgrace point in the Yemeni history.Maybe the information we have is inadequate ,so that we want to discuess this point logically and to hear from the people who contact to experience during the golden period of the socialist group.

    Dear Adel
You better keep away from politics
The socialist party ruled in former South Yemen with a government system that they viewed would bring prosperity to the country
They took the socialist system and applied it in SY, may be it didn't work perfect but at least there was a system

Think about the North. We had noooo system, no governance, and we still suffer from that
A change in Ideology could have led to prosperity in the South, if they had strong leaders
But in the North any change would be faced with the cumulative awkwardness and rigidity of thought that can NEVER bring or allow any progressive thought to grow
    Salam

What you know about Yemen Socialist Party

    A few yeasr after independence (1967) i.e. in 1970's, the People's

Democratic Republic of Yemen (PDRY, South Yemen), became a Soviet

client state and the first Arab Marxist-Leninist country in history, and yet

at that time, the anti-Communists' fear of North Yemen were ten times

greater than that of South Yemen<<

The Socialist South Yemen was never home to more than35,000 Thirty

    fiive thousand

members of the (Marxist and pro-Soviet) Yemen Socialist Party. North

Yemen by contrast, was home to 350,000, even though they were not

    legally recognized as such

    to be continued>>> 2

    dear abo yemen asly
what I would really concentrate or focus on is their criminality of nationalization during their period of governance, this what we call stealing, pilfering and robbery but in legal ways which was really more tragic situation than now, because in the actual time every robbery has to be done under the table, moreover they grabbed the islamic istinct from the people as well as the country.Don't forget also the industry of wine and its factories.and more and more and more i think you can't hide all those facts dear Abdullah and that's what make us prefer the consultation party or group.

    regards :)
