    Liquor Stores

Many Muslims Own Liquors stores in the U.S. Some of them Drink Liquor too.
But if I'm not mistaking, in the Quraan it said that
    Sharubah, Humelha, Wa Bayaha
A person that DRINKS IT, CARRYS IT or SELLS IT

    -----------------------
I as A Muslim, Worked in a Liquor Store for 4 months
Thank God that I got Out
The money was good at that time
but NOW I make twice as Much as people in the Liquor store
    Lah EL Humed
    ------------------
Well, I do Understand that the Money is good. And that's only Because it's Haraam. And Some guys that come from Yemen or are Muslims coming from other Countries, They work at a Liquor Store to start with there Lives. but Most of them like the money and start buying Liquors and so on. Some say that their going to start with a liquor store and then but other stores other than liquor. But Isn't that Haraam as Well. I know That its not as bad as stay or buying another Liquor store. BUT Everything Made out of Haraam is Haraam

Also, Some of our brothers Come to the U.S. and They Pray everyday, they know the Quraan, they read it Everyday. But when they Work in a liquor store... 6 months later they don't pray no more, they love the Money, and some even start Drinking.

And I ask You, The Members'
    Why Does this Happen
Why are our brothers Getting out of line
Why do they Forget to pray and the DEEEN
How Can We Prevent this from Happening
Does Talking to them Really Help

    All Comments Are Welcome

    Another good point brother Sami

First of all, let me tell you that there is a Hadeeth (Prophet talk) not
the Quran about the Curriour, the seller, the one drink it etc

Then to tell the truth, I beleive in one thing
that the life of a Muslim in a non-Muslim country
brings him a lot and more difficulties than the
Muslim living in a Muslim country

The non-Muslim society makes us losing, or
at least getting a little bit lax or relax with the deen mannars
or stuff. One day, we will accept to get a dirty money, and
we keep trying to get Hadeeth or Fatwa From shaikhs
any shaikhs to help us relaxing the deen

Ok, another e.g. I am working and the car factory gives me
just 30 minutes for lunch from 8 am to 5 pm, and that means
I lost the Dhohr or atleast the Asr pray time, maybe the
train last till Maghrib goes also, then I will pray two or three
paryers altogether at the same time
and I keep trying to get the corresponding relaxing Fatwa

It is really hard to keep as good Muslim as possible in
a Muslim Country nowadays, but, it is really harder to
do so in a non-muslim country

    and you can judge it

    Salam brother

This happens because of the knowledge they don't have it
it is really painful when you see muslims especially arabs
don't even memorize one part of the Quran and even
if they memorize they don't know how to recite it
And it is really amazing when you hear them
saying the prophet said!!!? and it is of the quran
and the opposite the say allah said and it is a
    hadeeth.. they don't recognize between
hadeeths and quran... and i remember one
time me and some ppl were sitting togather
and one doesn't pray asked they other one who
prays with which Sorah does the Quran begin?
one replied I don't have any background about
    the quran!!! Amazing...
and they get out of line because of the same cause
and loving of the money... also they forget to takecare
of their deen and they forget the deen cuz Money Is their goal
and when you love money and (you don't mind
which way you get it from or by) you will sacrafice
with anything you have and they don't look to
their religion as the most valuable thing they have
in this life also when they follow the Satan what
do you expect the satan tell them to do???
And we can prevent that from happening by standing
for our deen, getting out of the non-isalmic countries
as we have been told in the quran to do: to emigrant
from the Non-islamic countries to the islamic countries
to stand up for our deen, but we do the opposite, also by
keeping advising them also keeping our connection
    with allah.
Of course talking to them helps alot and i really feel sorry
when i hear some of our brothers saying not to talk to them.
also alot of Ayat and Hadeeths saying that we should
keep reminding our selves and our brothers by allah
and that is an effective way to get them away of some
bad deeds. and when you advise them and you are
patient with them you are gonna get some of them out
of some bad actions.
And we have the prophet peace be upon him as the best
role model for us, and you know that he called his folks secretly to islam ten years
    then he declared it...
I'm sorry for making it so long
Thank you so much sami for this great topic

Great info. Thanks A lot Brother
All We can Do is make Sure That Our kids get to know the Deen and the Quran, and What Allah Said and What Mohammed ( sul allah alah wa selam) Said. And Make Sure that They Know the Important things about Aslaam. And Hopefully they Know More than Us, and hopefully they Become better Muslims. And For that we can Only Pray and Ask Allah for that, and for the best to happen

    Thanks Again
    And God Bless

    Regards,

    alslam alekom all

brother sami come see here in California , it is ever worst when a lot of them have their wives and daughters work in the store all day long dealing with all kind of people who come through the liquor store. when i first moved to CA, i was shocked:mad:. and the sad part is most of those who allow their women to work in the liquor stores and the ones who claim they r " 8bial" big time. YAH RIGHAT!!!! 8bial in their dreams.
