    salam alykum brothers and sisters

It's very honorable for me to participate in this section.
and I wanted something new " I think" so we get benefits

Usually I ready some readers feedbacks about some novels they read and comments they mentioned and it plays a big role on which novel I should read next

Its very strange that I didn't find this reference in this forum, is it because we don' t read books, or are we the people they take their literature from the websites and newspapers. I am sure we have people here that know alot about the english literature and the best novels to read. To be fluent in English and to earn as much vocab as possible, reading novels helps in the area

so please If you did read any novels, and you remember the plots of the story, just put the novel name, what level its for, Hard, intermediate , easy ,,etc... and very short summary with some remarkable things that you learned from this novel

Hopefully I see some participants, and I think it will be a chance for everyone to use this as a reference to " what to read next " So please brothers and sisters, I need your cooperation, and inshallah I will post some novels I read and hopefully you can take a look at them.
By the way I need the feedback directly from you not from other resources, its because I think will be simpler for all of us
    May allah reward the jannah

    Here I am

well, I have finished other business

In fact, I was enjoying reading the novels
I found it great .. that was till I became 26 and got married:D 1
    Then I stopped, and I don't have a good reason for that :( 1

Let me talk about the past then .. I have read a lot of novels or stories of Agatha Christie

Then changed to more social ones

    اللقيطة - محمد عبدالحليم
The Orphaned by Mohammed Abdelhalim: It is amazing

Animal Farm by George Orwell: my first touch to the dirty politics

    روايات كثيرة نجيب محفوظ
A lot of Najeeb Mahfouz novels, I remember
Whisper of Madness, Midaq Alley, Khan al-Khalili, The Cairo Trilogy (Palace Walk, Palace of Desire, Sugar Street) and the Children of Gebelawi
I liked and enjoyed them because they mostly covered the current situation in the Yemeni society, or at least at 90's :) 1

Zorba, the Greek: it was wonderful, I believe that this novel has participate in shaping my thoughts

A Tale of Two Cities (قصة مدينتين)
By Charles Dickens: the greatest one I liked so much and mixed its reading with the classic music of Motzart and Bethoven and alike, and when I was in a trip to Paris I tried to figure out each place mentioned in the novel, I will read it again and encourage every one to read it since I think in Yemen we almost need it nowadays

I read for him as far as I remember: Oliver Twist, David Copperfield

قرأت أيضاً كوخ العم توم لهاريت بيتشر
Uncle Tom's Cabin Harriet Beecher Stowe: that asks for freeing the slaves in America. It was best seller of the 19'th century

    البؤساء لفيكتور هوجو
    Les Miserables by Victor Hugo

    أحدب نوتردام - نفس المؤلف
    Notre-Dame de Paris
The Hunchback of Notre-Dame by him also

And others.. but as I told you that was till 2000 .. and now I don't like to read novels but maybe after finishing my thesis

That's from my side, and I hope people will come around and say something especially the writer of this post

    Salam
